The Rebellion Record (12 volumes). The Rebellion Record is a 12-volume collection of documents, newspaper reports, speeches, poems, and songs that chronicles the American Civil War. The work was published in New York between 1861 and 1868, while the war was still being fought. It was edited by Frank Moore (1828-1904). The collection offers a contemporary history of the war and its impact on American culture. It includes articles and letters from newspapers in the Confederate States.
